URNCST Journal Abstract Competitions



The URNCST [pronounced “earnest”] Journal hosts two abstract competitions open to undergraduate students internationally. Both are open to authors who completed their abstract while enrolled in an undergraduate (i.e. BSc, BEng, BA, etc.) or professional-undergraduate (i.e. MD, DDS, PharmD, OD, RN, etc.) degree program. Please read about both abstract competitions below; you may submit an abstract to either competition at any time as submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

 
 

The 2nd URNCST Journal Case Competition

About this Competition: Students participating in the URNCST Journal Case Competition are required to submit an abstract relating to the proposed topic as provided by the URNCST Journal, however, they do not require a supervisor and do not need to have any prior research experience. Please be sure to read the Frequently Asked Questions (above) before beginning the process of submitting an abstract.

Proposed Topic:
For many people around the world, pollutants in their general environment negatively impact the quality of reproductive health. Such pollutants can affect the mother, father or fetus. We welcome submissions from any science or technology disciplines relating to the following: “Human Reproductive Health and the Environment”.

Abstract Submission Deadline: December 1, 2018 @ 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time

The 2nd URNCST Journal Research Competition

About this Competition: Students participating in the URNCST Journal Research Competition must have conducted research as an undergraduate student within an academic research capacity (i.e. university laboratory or clinical group) and obtained supervision to submit an abstract from a supervisor (i.e. professor, scientist). Please be sure to read the Frequently Asked Questions (above) before beginning the process of submitting an abstract

Proposed Topic: The research described in your abstract must have been conducted in an ANY academic discipline falling within science or technology. Please be sure to read about the URNCST Journal’s scope prior to making a submission.
