Become a Peer-Reviewer for the URNCST Journal Abstract Competitions
The Undergraduate Research in Natural and Clinical Science and Technology Journal actively seeks qualified peer-reviewers to evaluate abstracts submitted to one or both of the URNCST Journal Abstract Competitions. As a peer-reviewer you will help to evaluate and provide undergraduate students internationally with constructive feedback that they can use to improve upon their research projects and case competition submissions and increase their work's impact.
Eligibility: At minimum, a peer-reviewer must be a student or graduate of a Masters or PhD degree (or a highly-research oriented professional degree student or graduate, i.e. MD, PharmD, etc) and have at least one full-article (i.e. not a poster or oral abstract) published in a peer-reviewed journal. Additional publications are an asset, however, at least one full-article must be made available to the Editor-in-Chief or Lead Editor of the URNCST Journal. All peer-reviewers must have an excellent understanding of the scientific process, possess exceptional editing and writing skills in the English language, and have a willingness to promote the competition to potential applicants. Other desirable assets include teaching experience, familiarity with multiple research methodologies, and experience supporting undergraduate research initiatives, those these three criteria are not mandatory.
